Our HSD 2015 ambassador: Marie-Andrée Fortin

It is with great pleasure that we announce that Marie-Andrée Fortin will be the Hooked on School Days ambassador  for the 2015 edition.

Marie-Andrée enjoys sharing her great energy and her joie de vivre with those she meets and she will certainly inspire more than one person during the HSD in Estrie.

In fact, last winter, Marie-Andrée Fortin and three other hikers  traveled 2,000 kilometers cross-country skiing, from Montreal to Kuujjiuaq in 130 days: it was called the Karibu project.

An inspiration to all

Adventure Travel Guide, Marie-Andrée Fortin also holds a BA in Early Childhood and Primary Education from the University of Sherbrooke.

Our ambassador studied in primary and secondary schools in our region namely, Richmond and Windsor. Before making her passion her profession,   she was a teacher in some schools in the Townships.
In addition, during the Karibu project, Marie-Andrée shared her passion by organizing activities with young people in area schools.

The 2015 edition of HSD will be for our ambassador,  an opportunity to share again her passion and determination  with people in the Townships.
