Everyone has a role to play in the educational success of young people… and you are the first person affected by this success.
But you're not alone. Your parents, friends, teachers, school professionals, employer, coach, adults around you… all of these people can support and help you in meeting the challenges in your school life.

The following sites are offered in the CTREQ kit, “Y'a une place pour toi!” You'll find them useful in finding help and relevant information.
This site (in French only) is specifically designed to help young people who don't enjoy school and are considering dropping out. It allows young people to question counsellors, discover helpful strategies, and have discussions with other youth through a forum.

This site lounched in May 2011 by Bibliothèques publiques de Montréal is specifically designed to help primary students, parents, teachers with many useful educational tools. (in French only)

A resource centre (in French only) to help young people with school work, through virtual classrooms, a discussion board…

A website and toll-free number to help young people through difficult times or to help a friend who has problems. The website provides information on various topics, has testimonials from young people and allows you to get help from an adult via e-mail. The telephone number puts the young person in contact with an adult at any time of day (24 hrs. a day, seven days a week). (1-800-263-2266).

A team of teachers is available to meet young people's needs. The telephone service, cyber-class, 24-hour e-mail service or the virtual library (in French only) are at your disposal to help you with homework. (1-888-776-4455).

Grands-parents virtuels (virtual grandparents) are seniors that use the Web and that want to share their passion with young people ages 8 to 18. They can help with school work and offer advice by Internet. (French only)
